I guess I have to go

This painting, titled “Strength,” represents an inner sanctuary where I go to draw energy and resilience. The monochromatic palette, dominated by shades of black and white, sets a meditative tone, creating an atmosphere of cosmic stillness. This calm levitation suggests a sense of transcending earthly limits, reaching for something greater within.

The celestial symbols of the sun and moon evoking a sense of eternal cosmic power. The sun represents vitality, energy, and life force, while the crescent moon suggests introspection, intuition, and calm. Together, these elements speak to the balance and harmony I seek, embodying the idea that true strength comes from both the outer world and the inner self.

Head Space: From Vice to Inspiration

The use of tobacco was almost accidentally intentional, it took me on a journey of discovering the natural beauty of things alive and how death can influence you to consume or create. Using natural matter forced me to battle my precisian side, to accept that what is moving shouldn’t be stopped and what is alive is always moving. I relished creating with matter that is changing, it inspired me to exercise adapting to the circumstances I’m bound to.
